There is no question that the effects of addiction do not just harm the addict – far too often, families and communities are left to deal with the devastating consequences of substance abuse. That is why we go beyond simply making offenders accountable for their actions – we also give them the tools and education regarding their disease to help break the cycle of addiction and make the lifestyle changes that leads to long term recovery. We facilitate lasting behavioral changes through intensive supervision, treatment, and education that will reduce recidivism and create safer communities.
As an alternative to incarceration in the county jail, recovery court helps save approximately $15,000 per year, per offender.
INCREASED TAX REVENUE
By connecting participants with gainful employment and educational opportunities, we position them to consistently pay taxes and, in many cases, child support that if incarcerated would otherwise go unpaid.
Our participants are equipped with the skills and resources they need to be responsible citizens, which reduces the chance of relapse.
